First strike

The Hammer is already selected — cyan tiles are legal marches.
Click the pulsing Chronometer tile (or another cyan square).
Then click the rust-mite (amber) to Smash.

There is no skip. Click the pulsing cyan Chronometer on the board — this card stays until you take one legal march or strike. Arrows only move the cursor — click or Enter confirms.
