You are a surveyor in a dead seam. The lamp is brass. The crystals are teal. The map is a lie until you light it.
Walk east from the Shaft Head to reach the Timber Gallery. Stay to the middle timber. The lamp follows the way you walk — WASD or arrows turn it; the pointer does not aim it. Oil tins feed the wick once. Survey scraps pick up once. Flares, planks, and crystal chips plant one tile ahead of facing. Do not step where you did not light.
